Abstract:
The paper discusses anti-Semitic stereotypes used in media, in political discussions of Kotlebovci – Ľudová strana Naše Slovensko. Political rhetoric has always been a part of persuasive communication and using it can manipulate, affect and change societal cognitive opinions. The author focuses on spoken and written communication with anti-Semitic aspects, which caused reactions from the public and media. On these examples the author points to stereotypes in anti-Semitic discourse, which are some of the main topical and argumentative pillars and strategies of this political party.
